Choir leader and founder

Josh is an infectiously enthusiastic voice teacher and vocal coach. His passion for voice began when singing in his secondary school choir, wanting to know why and how we make the sounds that we do. Years down the line, Josh studied a Voice Studies & Performing Arts programme at The University of Winchester.

Alfie is the resident pianist for Encore Choirs, known for bringing his vibrant energy, musical creativity, and a great sense of humour to every session—especially when bouncing off choir leader Josh! With a flair for turning accompaniment into artistry, Alfie adds a unique groove and personality to the Encore sound.

Georgina joined the team as administrator in 2025, bringing with her a unique blend of organisational expertise, passion for choral music and a deep commitment to community. With a background in leading and managing a choir at the University of Winchester, Georgina ensures that things run smoothly behind the scenes and combines her musical insight with a keen eye for detail.
